If you’ve been on social media for the last few months, you’ve likely seen many varieties of chickles. A chickle is a pickle wrapped in cheese and cooked to a crispy and crunchy texture.

What should I dip my Chickle in?

We love dipping our pickles in a blanket in my creamy buttermilk ranch dressing! Talk about the perfect combination of flavors and texture – I’m drooling just thinking about it!

Cheese. You can use any kind of cheese you wish; we like deli sliced mild cheddar cheese best. I’ve seen people cook this recipe with provolone cheese and they say it tastes great!

Dill pickle spears. Dill pickle spears form the center of the cheese roll.

How to make the best Tiktok Pickle in a Blanket (Chickle)

STEP 1: Place the cheese in an ungreased medium skillet. Bring the heat to low and let it cook for 5 minutes until the cheese has browned around the edges.

STEP 2: Add the pickle spears in the center of each piece of cheese. Using tongs, wrap the cheese around each pickle.

STEP 3: Cook for 1 minute. Place on a paper-towel lined plate. Serve with your favorite ranch dressing or creamy dipping sauce.
