Can I use chocolate bars besides Snickers?

Yes, you can use the snack size Milky Way chocolate bars if you wish. Both will work with this recipe.

Ingredients in Teddy Driving Race Cars Chocolate Candy Snack

Snickers bars. Buy two packs of small snack size Snickers chocolate bars. Each pack comes with 6 snack sized candy bars.

Teddy Graham crackers. Use any type of Teddy Grahams you wish. We used honey.

M&M candies. Plain chocolate M&M candies make up the steering wheel and tires.

Chocolate chips. You can use chocolate chips or chocolate almond bark.

How to Make the Best Teddy Driving Race Cars Chocolate Candy Snack

STEP 1: Unwrap the Snickers bars and arrange them on a plate or baking sheet.

STEP 2: Use a serrated knife to cut the Teddy’s legs off, cutting right below the belly button.

STEP 3: Carefully cut 6 M&M’s in half. These will be for the steering wheel.

STEP 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips for 1 minute. Stir after and if not melted, place back in the microwave in 15-seconds increments, stirring in between, until melted.

STEP 5: Use a sharp paring knife to dot the melted chocolate on the four edges of the Snickers bars. As soon as you place the melted chocolate on the Snickers, immediately place an M&M and hold it so it sticks. Repeat until all Snickers bars have 4 wheels. Let set.

STEP 6: Gently push a Teddy Graham over the melted chocolate, about 1/3 of the way from the edge of each Snickers bar, pressing the Teddy Graham piece down into the Snickers to set. Don’t push too hard or the Teddy Graham will break.

STEP 7: Carefully cut 6 M&M’s in half, widthwise, as shown. Dab the melted chocolate on the flat side and press down about 1/3 way from the opposite edge of the Teddy Graham. These will be the steering wheels. Repeat until finished. Let set and serve.
