Summer is not over yet and yes, you can still eat these delicious s’mores bars. In fact, I love s’mores so much that I eat them any time of year – I’m not picky! These bars are a s’mores’ lover’s dream come true dessert as they’re packed with a buttery graham cracker crust, topped with baked mini marshmallows, baked chocolate and more graham cracker crumbs and marshmallows sprinkled on top. You don’t have to be camping to eat or enjoy s’mores. These are baked in the oven so if you did bring them along on your camping trip, you would have to make them beforehand. If chocolate and bars are your thing, then you’ll love my Magic Cookie Bars and my Sheet Pan S’mores!

There’s something about the taste of freshly crumbled graham crackers combined with melted marshmallows and chocolate that is so dreamy and mouthwatering. I can’t ever get enough s’more in my life. I’ve had a weakness for them since I was a young kid and those sweet chocolate marshmallow cravings have not and likely will not ever, subside!

Ingredients in S’mores Bars

Graham crackers. You must buy real graham crackers and skip the pre-crumbled graham crackers for this one. This is the main ingredient in the crust of S’mores Bars.

Butter. Melted butter binds the graham cracker crumbs together, forming a crunchy crust.

Salt. Just a pinch is all that’s needed to help enhance the other ingredients.

Mini marshmallows. A main s’mores ingredient, melted marshmallows are a key part of this recipe.

Semi-sweet chocolate chips. Poured on top of the marshmallow layer, melted chocolate tops this one off.

Milk chocolate bar. One milk chocolate bar such as a Hershey’s milk chocolate bar, broken into pieces, make the perfect bar topping.

How to Make the Best S’mores Bars

1). Preheat the oven and mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter, and salt until well combined. Reserve 2 tablespoons for sprinkling at the end. Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish, using the bottom of a measuring cup to press it.

3). Evenly spread the mini marshmallows on top. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes to allow the marshmallows time to deflate and cool.

4). Pour the chocolate chips on top, evenly covering the top. Sprinkle the reserved graham cracker mixture and marshmallows on top. Bake for 10 minutes.
