Loved by kids and adults, these are the perfect DIY Halloween party snack idea! If you like easy three-ingredient Halloween snacks, then you’ll love my Halloween Pretzel Ghost recipe!

My inquisitive four-year-old baker had tons of fun helping me make these. In fact, she has way too much fun making or baking anything involving sugar and candy! We’ve been working hard, making lots of toddler and kid friendly Halloween and fall recipes this month and we have so many more cool ideas to share! I do love when she helps me bake and cook because she gets to learn measurements and math, and has the ability to use her fine motor skills. Cooking and baking is a wonderful learning activity for toddlers and kids. Kids and adult love these sweet and savory fall treats. We hope you have a chance to make these this October!

Ingredients in Skeleton Bones

Pretzel sticks. Pretzel sticks form the lemur or leg bone of this Halloween recipe.

Mini marshmallows. Stick one mini marshmallow at both ends of a pretzel stick to make it look like a joint.

White almond bark. The pretzel and marshmallow femur or leg is dipped in melted white almond bark. Feel free to substitute with white baking chocolate.

How to make the best Skeleton Bones

STEP 1: Stick one marshmallow on each pretzel end enough so that they stay put. Place them on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

STEP 2: Melt the almond bark by placing it in a microwave-safe bowl and heating in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and heat in the microwave in 20-second increments until it’s completely melted.

STEP 3: Coat the pretzel bones in the warmed almond bark. Let set 1 hour.
