Ingredients in Ritz Cracker Party Sandwiches

Ritz crackers. Salty and crunchy Ritz crackers are the “bread” for your mini sandwiches.

Salt. Just a little salt is needed to season the dip.

Pepper. Freshly grated black pepper gives this dish some spice and flavor.

Oregano. Dried oregano leaves give these appetizer flavor.

Crushed red pepper. Just a smidge goes a long way and provides a kick.

Deli ham. Tear small pieces of deli ham to place in between the Ritz crackers.

Provolone cheese. Chop provolone deli cheese slices into one-inch pieces.

Butter. Unsalted or salted butter will work with this recipe.

Worcestershire sauce. Adds flavor and tang.

Mustard. Helps balance out the Worcestershire sauce and seasoning.

How to Make the Best Ritz Cracker Party Sandwiches

1). Place the Ritz crackers flat side down on a baking sheet. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F/ 175 degrees C.

2). In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Set aside.

3). Tear the ham and place it on each cracker – they don’t need to be perfect.

4). Chop the provolone cheese into ½-inch to 1-inch pieces and lay it on top of the ham.

5). Place the remainder of the Ritz crackers on top, salt side facing up.

6). In a small bowl, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds. Whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and half of the seasoning.

7). Evenly spread the butter mixture on top of the Ritz crackers. Top with the remaining half of the seasoning.

8). Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and the cheese is melted. Serve warm.
