Ingredients in Halloween Mummy Pizzas

Wheat bread. Use wheat bread or white bread as the base for your pizza.

Butter. Melt the butter and spread it on top of the pizzas. Unsalted or salted butter work fine.

Garlic. Alternatively, you can use one tablespoon of minced garlic.

Marinara sauce. Use your favorite marinara or pizza sauce.

Pepperoni. You can use any meat toppings; we chose pepperoni. Layer the pepperoni over the marinara.

Mozzarella string cheese. Pick mozzarella string cheeses apart into pieces to make the mummy bandages.

Black olives. Sliced black olives make the eyes. These are our favorite sliced black olives.

How to make the best Halloween Mummy Pizzas

STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 350° F and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

STEP 2: Place the bread on the baking sheet and spread melted butter on top, followed by garlic.

STEP 3: Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes, or until slightly toasted and lightly golden.

STEP 4: Evenly spread marinara on top of the bread slices. Add 5 pepperoni on top of each slice of bread. Arrange the string cheese pieces in a crisscross pattern, to appear like a mummy, leaving room for the eyes. Add the sliced olives as the eyes. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
