How to Make the Best Low Carb Keto Cheddar Crisps

Technically, these is a single-ingredient recipe (cheese). You can modify your cheese crisps in any way you wish. If you like Italian, do half cheddar and half Parmesan and sprinkle Italian seasoning on top. If you like everything bagel seasoning, which is what I like to use, sprinkle that on top of the cheese.

STEP 1: Preheat your oven and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

STEP 2: Make small piles of cheddar on the prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or any other seasoning(s). I fit 12 on one baking sheet and 6 on a separate baking sheet.

STEP 3: Bake the crisps for a few minutes, until crispy. Be careful not to over bake as they will quickly burn.

STEP 4: If you make this recipe, don’t forget to leave a rating and comment!

Tips

  • Make sure to space each crisp about two inches apart. If they melt into one, you may end up with one sheet of cheese, which isn’t bad, but it’s much more convenient if they’re individual-sized cheddar crisps.
  • Do your best to make small one tablespoon stacks of cheese

Other Options

If you aren’t into cheddar, you can use mozzarella or another similar type of hard cheese. Mozzarella is softer than cheddar and may cook even quicker, so be sure to keep a close eye on the crisps as they bake. The more they cook, the crispier they get.

As for seasonings, you can drizzle my mouthwatering buttermilk ranch dressing on them for a cheesy ranch taste. You can also sprinkle the following herbs and spices on top:

  • Basil (dried)
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Onion powder
  • Oregano
  • Paprika
  • Parsley (dried)
  • Pepper
  • Poppy seeds
  • Rosemary
  • Salt
  • Sesame seeds
