My Loaded Candy Pretzels are HIGHLY ADDICTING and when you’re feeling like a cookie, but not like baking, you can quickly make these without any baking. They’re done in less than 15 minutes and are absolutely irresistible!

Sweet-meets-savory Loaded Candy Pretzels contain pretzel rods, milk chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, milk chocolate toffee bits, walnuts, caramels, and milk. First, you chop the pretzels in half. Then, you melt the caramels and milk in a small saucepan over the stove.

Pin this now to save for later!

You’ll then roll the pretzels about 1/3 way in melted caramel. Next, roll the caramel-dipped pretzel in the mixture of chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, milk chocolate toffee bits, and walnuts. If you like salty pretzels combined with sweet chocolate and sticky caramel, this recipe is for you. My husband I cannot ever stop eating these but I love serving them at game day gatherings and parties! They’re always a hit!

Ingredients in Loaded Candy Pretzels

Pretzel rods. Buy Snyder’s or other brand large pretzel rods.

Chocolate chips. You can use milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate chips. We love these Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips best.

Peanut butter chips. We always use these Reese’s peanut butter chips.

Milk chocolate toffee bits. Usually made by Heath, milk chocolate toffee bits can be found in the baking aisle near the chocolate chips. Amazon also sells them here.

Walnuts. Used chopped walnuts or any type of your favorite chopped nuts.

Caramels. We prefer these Werther’s soft caramels but any caramel will work.

Milk. Use any kind of milk to make this recipe.

How to make the best Loaded Candy Pretzels

STEP 1: Use a sharp knife to cut the pretzels in half.

STEP 2: In a medium bowl, stir the milk chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, toffee bits, and walnuts.

STEP 3: Add the caramels and milk to a small saucepan and heat over low. Stir occasionally and watch closely. Keep stirring and as soon as the caramels have melted, remove from heat. Be careful not to over-cook as the caramel will burn and harden.

STEP 4: Working quickly, roll the pretzel rods about 1/3 way with caramel. Immediately roll in the chocolate chip and toffee bit mixture, using your hands to add the mixture onto the caramel. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet; let set.

STEP 5: If you make this recipe, don’t forget to leave a rating and comment!
