This irresistibly addicting drink will have you coming back for more! My recipe is done in less than 10 minutes and calls for heavy whipping cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, caramel syrup, ice, coffee, and milk. If you’re as obsessed with coffee as my husband and I, then you’ll be super excited to try this mouthwatering latte recipe.
Back in my early 20s, I interviewed for a job at Starbucks in Brea, California, only to be rejected. It was the first group interview I had ever done and awkward was an understatement to shy, younger me. I didn’t ever pursue a coffee shop again after that, but I feel like I’m reliving my small dream of being a barista as I whipped up this fun recipe. I had never used a milk frother until I made this lovely, sweet latte, but that is changing because I never realized what I was missing until I used a milk frother! It’s lifechanging, seriously! If you’ve never used one, you really need to!

Ingredients in Iced Caramel Mocha Latte
Heavy whipping cream. Heavy whipping cream or heavy cream adds thickness and creaminess to your latte.
Cocoa powder. Use unsweetened cocoa powder like this high quality Ghiradelli unsweetened cocoa powder.
Sugar. Just a small amount of sugar is needed to sweeten up the drink.
Caramel syrup. Caramel syrup coats the coffee cup and adds a sweet taste. We love the thickness and sweetness of this Smucker’s Caramel syrup, but you can also use caramel syrup made for coffee like this mouthwatering Ghiradelli caramel syrup.
Ice. Ice puts the “Iced” in Iced Caramel Mocha Latte.
Coffee. If you want strong coffee, use a French press. Otherwise, regular coffee works.
Milk. Whole milk provides the thickest and creamiest texture. If you don’t have whole, use 2% milk. You can use plant-based milk although it will not be as creamy and your froth may be weak.
How to make the best Iced Caramel Mocha Latte
STEP 1: If you’re using hot coffee, let it cool first. To expedite the cooling process, drop an ice cube or two in the coffee.
STEP 2: To make the whip, pour the heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, and sugar in a small glass. Use a milk frother to mix until the consistency thickens to a peanut butter thickness. It takes about 10 minutes, so be patient.
STEP 3: Line your coffee cup with caramel syrup around the glass. Add the ice, coffee, milk, and whipped mixture.
STEP 4: Top with your favorite toppings such as mocha syrup, whipped cream, cinnamon, white or milk chocolate chips, or espresso beans.
