These buttery breadsticks house the best-tasting seasoned ground beef cheese stick! With this amazing breadstick aroma, my neighbors must think I’m a stellar Italian chef! Cheesy Pizza Taco Sticks are a family favorite in this household. You really can’t go wrong with cheese, bread, and butter! Loved by toddlers and adults, they’re the perfect finger food appetizer or meal. The herby butter is spread on top of each taco stick, giving it a buttery and tasty flavor. These Cheesy Pizza Taco Sticks are a fantastic quick and budget-friendly family dinner. It’s easy and fast—two of my favorite types of dinners! You can easily skip the meat to make a vegetarian recipe, which is also very tasty in my opinion. Dipped in salsa or sour cream, they’re a finger food version of a taco – although still hand-held. My husband cannot ever get enough of these when I make them!

My easy appetizer recipe contains ground beef, taco seasoning, pizza dough, cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried parsley and is done in less than 25 minutes!

How to make the best Cheesy Pizza Taco Sticks

STEP 1: Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and preheat your oven.

STEP 2: Cook the ground beef in a skillet and using a wooden spoon to break up the beef. Drain the fat and return to the stove top. Add the taco seasoning and mix. Remove from heat and let cool.

STEP 3: Lay the pizza dough flat and cut it lengthwise. Next, cut it four times, creating 10 rectangles. Place a small amount of cooked ground beef—½ to 1 tablespoon—in the center of each piece of pizza dough. Place a half cheese stick on top and then roll up the stick, pinching the seams to keep the beef and cheese inside.

STEP 4: In a small bowl, add the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and parsley, and use a spoon or brush to spread it evenly on top of each folded taco stick. Bake for 11-13 minutes. Serve with fresh salsa, chopped onion and cilantro, guacamole—or any other of your favorite taco toppings.
