My family and I love anything with bacon, but when you combine savory crackers with baked, crispy bacon, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper, you get a mouthwatering EASY four-ingredient finger food appetizer snack. These are simple and perfect for parties, including Christmas and holiday parties, as well as game day, tailgate, and Super Bowl parties. The best part about it is that they’re done in about 10 minutes before they are baked to a crispy perfection in the oven. Not much time or effort is needed and what you end up with is one irresistible sweet marries salty snack. These make such a wonderful potluck or New Year’s Eve party appetizer too. They are the perfect grab n’ go snack. You can even make them ahead of time and pop them in the oven for about five minutes at 350 degrees F/ 175 degrees C right before serving to heat them up a bit. If you need more, you can double the recipe. These sure didn’t last long at my house as they were devoured in about five minutes flat!

Club crackers. Use Keebler Club Crackers or a similar long cracker where each bacon slice will fit and cook over the cracker. Saltine crackers will work too.

Bacon. If you like bacon, you’ll fall in love with this recipe. If you like crispier bacon, cook a bit longer and if you like your bacon just cooked, err on cooking it for fewer minutes.

Brown sugar. Brown sugar sprinkled on top gives each bite an unbeatable sweet flavor.

Crushed red pepper. The crushed red pepper is optional and if you’re cooking for kids, like I am, you can do half with the crushed red pepper, or just omit it entirely.
