Computers Best SellersMy recipe is straightforward and simple and I firmly believe shrimp do not need to be overly seasoned. All that’s needed to season the shrimp is some salt and pepper. You’ll mix the shrimp with high quality extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it will absorb the juices from the bacon as it surrounds the shrimp and bakes.

Pro Tips on Thawing Frozen Shrimp
Most shrimp is sold frozen. To thaw your frozen shrimp, simply place the shrimp in a bowl and run cold water over it for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, it will be soft and ready to bake. If your shrimp is still partially frozen, it will still bake just fine as shrimp is small in size and won’t take long to thaw and heat.

Bacon. If your bacon is thick, you may need to bake for a few minutes longer.
Shrimp. Use large shrimp for the best result. See the note above about frozen shrimp and thaw times.
Extra virgin olive oil. High quality extra virgin olive oil provides the best flavor and helps the seasoning stick to the shrimp.
Salt. Salt is needed to help season the shrimp.
Beauty Best SellersPepper. We use freshly cracked black pepper as it tastes the freshest.
Lemon wedges. As an optional garnish, freshly squeezed lemon tastes the best over these bacon wrapped shrimp. If you don’t have lemon, don’t fret – your shrimp will still taste divine!
How to Make the Best Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
1). Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F/ 220 degrees C.
2). Line two baking sheets with wire racks to allow the bacon grease to drip while baking. Place the bacon slices on the wire racks, leaving a little bit of room in between each slice. Bake for 5-12 minutes depending on the bacon’s thickness. For thicker bacon slices, cook longer. You want the bacon to be pliable once removed from the oven to easily wrap around the shrimp.
3). In the meantime, add the shrimp to a medium bowl. Pour in the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
4). When the partially cooked bacon slices are cool enough to touch, start wrapping each shrimp with a piece of bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Place each bacon wrapped shrimp on the baking sheet with the wire rack. Repeat until all the shrimp are wrapped in bacon.
Best Sellers5). Bake for 10-16 minutes until the shrimp are pinkish orange and the bacon is cooked through. Oven temperatures vary so keep an eye on them at 10 minutes and bake until the shrimp is cooked.
