Are you in need of an easy and fun 4th of July party treat?! These darling American Flag Graham Cracker Treats will win the hearts of all kids and adults at a Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day summer barbecue or cookout! They only require three ingredients and are ready in about 15 minutes. You can legit make these all summer long with the kids, who will thoroughly enjoy every single bite! If your kids are anything like mine, they’ll just eat the M&M’s off—because that’s the BEST PART, right?!

Let the kids help separate the red and blue plain M&M’s and they’ll have a blast helping eat the non-patriotic colored M&M’s! These cute snacks are perfect for an Independence Day party or fireworks show!

Pin this now to save for later!

Ingredients in American Flag Graham Cracker Treats

Graham crackers. Use honey graham crackers to make these snacks.

White frosting. You can use white or vanilla frosting. This is our favorite brand and type of frosting.

M&M’s. Opt for red and blue plain M&M chocolate candies.

How to make the best American Flag Graham Cracker Treats

If you are lucky enough to find the patriotic red, white, and blue plain M&M’s, then by all means, use those! You’ll still have to separate the red and blue M&M’s from the rest, but it’ll be much easier than picking out all the red and blue ones from a regular, non-holiday bag. I have not been fortunate enough to find any patriotic colored M&M’s this year so I continue buying the huge bags of regular plain M&M’s, then I pick out all the red and blue candies and place them in two separate bowls, sorted by color, as shown in the photo above.

STEP 1: Use a butter knife to spread the white frosting on top of each of the halved graham cracker sheets. In the top left corner, carefully place four blue M&M’s, forming a square.

My four-year-old wanted to eat ALL of these of course. What toddler doesn't adore colorful and delicious M&M's?!

STEP 2: On the bottom of the cracker, carefully place five red M&M’s to form a straight line (the stripe). Leaving a line of white in between, add a second row of five red M&M’s directly below the blue M&M’s. In the center of the two rows of blue M&M’s, place three red M&M’s, as shown in the photos in this post. Serve right away or cover in foil or store in an airtight container at room temperature.
