My MOST POPULAR pin on Pinterest are these delicious Alabama firecrackers with flavor and zest. Every day, I wake up to more people saving this recipe on Pinterest. I wanted to make a snack with a kick so I tried to come up with my own version of these spicy crackers and this came out pretty well! My husband and I both could not stop eating them! We sliced up some cheddar and mozzarella and ate the cheese with our newest spicy cracker known as Alabama Firecrackers. These go great with a creamy dip or hummus! Historically, Alabama Firecrackers are any mix of olive oil and spice—you can get as creative as your heart desires. We opted for quite a bit of crushed red pepper which really gives these a good spicy kick. I love the zesty taste of Italian seasoning as they blend well with the crushed red pepper. I also added a small amount of garlic powder and freshly cracked black pepper.

Pair these spicy crackers with my Hearty Chili recipe for the most delicious combo! The spicy tang of the crackers perfectly complements a warm bowl of chili. They are also delicious with a creamy dip or with cheddar slices.
