Delicious extra virgin olive oil combined with paprika help enhance the fries as it gives them a degree of spicy crispiness. They both also contain numerous health benefits. Extra virgin olive oil is packed with antioxidants and can reduce the risk of cancer while paprika, also antioxidant-rich, may reduce inflammation and may exhibit anti-cancer properties, according to Healthline’s article.

Sweet potatoes. This recipe uses real sweet potatoes to make your sweet potato fries.

Extra virgin olive oil. Use high quality extra virgin olive oil for the best taste.

Paprika. Paprika provides seasoning and flavor.

Salt. Salt seasons these fries and my recipe uses just the right amount.

Pepper. Pepper gives these fries a delicious zesty and spicy flavor.

How to Make the Best Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

STEP 1: Preheat your air fryer, if necessary. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped sweet potatoes, olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.

STEP 2: Place the potato sticks in the air fryer so that they’re not touching. Air fry at 380° F for 7-9 minutes on each side. Flip halfway, cooking for a total of 14-18 minutes. Dip in ketchup or your favorite French fry dipping sauce.

STEP 3: If you make this recipe, don’t forget to leave a rating and comment!

What Dip Should I Use with My Fries?

Ketchup, my Homemade Ranch Dressing, mayo, a sriracha Ranch sauce, or if you live here in Utah, then you’ll likely use fry sauce as that is the most common French fry sauce in this state. Fry sauce is a mouthwatering blend of mayonnaise, ketchup, and spices.
