Butter. Salted or unsalted butter will work. We like this butter the best as it's the highest quality.
Cream of cheddar cheese soup. You can substitute cream of chicken soup if you aren’t into the cream of cheddar cheese soup. This creamy soup gives the dish a creamy, thick texture.
Sour cream. Don’t skimp and buy fat free or low fat sour cream as this recipe requires the full fat version.
Onion. Onion gives a lot of flavor to this recipe and contains numerous antioxidants and nutrients.
Cheddar cheese. Always freshly grate your cheese for the highest quality flavor. The pre-shredded cheeses at the grocery store contain cancer-causing agents which prevents the cheese from clumping together.

Plus, the natural sodium in cheese is plenty in terms of saltiness.
