Not only is it low carb, gluten free, and much healthier than any bread you can buy at the grocery store, but with butter on top, it melts in your mouth. You can put butter on top or use the bread as mini sliders for BLTs, turkey and cheese, and other simple sandwich recipes. This bread is so easy and quick to make. Even the busiest people can eat healthy if they have 90 seconds to spare!

My insanely addicting 90-Second Keto Bread contains egg, milk, extra virgin olive oil, almond flour, baking powder, and salt, and takes just over 3 minutes to make, from start to finish!

90-Second Keto Bread Ingredients

  • Egg. An egg is needed to bind the ingredients. Eggs also provide protein, nutrients, and flavor.
  • Milk. Milk gives the bread moisture and a creamy texture.
  • Olive oil. I use extra virgin olive oil as it’s the best quality olive oil. Oil enhances flavor, texture, and moisture and also provides easy slicing. Olive oil is packed with nutrients and antioxidants.
  • Almond flour. Naturally low carb and gluten free almond flour helps the bread to build structure. Flour is a thickening agent that helps hold the wet ingredients together.
  • Baking powder. Baking powder is a leavening agent that helps to neutralize acid. A small amount helps increase the volume and help the bread puff.
  • Salt. Just a pinch of salt is all that is needed to give the bread flavor while providing structure.

How to make the best Keto Bread

STEP 1: Whisk the egg, milk, extra virgin olive oil, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

STEP 2: Pour the mixture into a mug and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds.

STEP 3: Invert the mug onto a cutting board and gently knock the bread out. Let it cool, then slice it.

STEP 14 Add 1 teaspoon of oil or butter to a frying pan and bring the heat to medium-high. Add the bread and toast for 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side.

STEP 5: Serve warm with butter or use as a sandwich or mini pizzas. To reheat, place in the microwave for 30 seconds.

STEP 6: If you make this recipe, don’t forget to leave a rating and comment!
