If you’re wondering, “Is this lady serious about making Twix bites with ONLY THREE ingredients?!,” then, yes, I am SO serious and you will be just as excited as I was when I first tried these. Yes, this easy no bake recipe is LEGIT THREE ingredients. A lot of recipes tout that they’re only a certain number of ingredients, but they usually omit a couple – this one requires exactly three ingredients and is so fun to make with the kids! If you like to make candy, then you’ll fall in love with my Homemade 100 Grand Candy Bars, Peanut Butter Balls, Oreo Truffles, and Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies recipes!

My four-year-old LOVES baking with me and has since she was two years old. Baking teaches kids mathematics as they learn to use measurements as well as gives them a chance to work on their fine motor skills. Baking with my daughter is so fun and knowing we’re making such wonderful memories makes it THAT much better. It makes my heart happy to see her so happy when the final recipe is complete – even the steps leading up to completion! And to give you a fair warning, these are WAY MORE DELICIOUS than an actual Twix bar. I think we’re done buying Twix bars as this recipe completely takes the cake on the best Twix recipe. How can my husband and I go back to buying regular Twix bars when we know this TASTIER recipe exists?!

Pin this now to save for later!

Are they better than a real Twix?

I was surprised by how much tastier my own homemade Twix bars are compared to their store-bought counterpart. I promise once you make your own Twix bites, you’ll never want to buy a Twix at the grocery store again!

How to Make the Best 3-Ingredient Twix Bites

STEP 1: Preheat your oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

STEP 2: Place 40 Mini Nilla Wafers round side down, on the baking sheet.

STEP 3: Gently place a Rolo candy on top of each of the Mini Nilla Wafers and bake for 90 seconds. Don’t overbake as the recipe will not work if the Rolos become too hot.

STEP 4: Remove from oven and carefully place a Mini Nilla Wafer on top of the baked Rolos. Be careful not to press the wafer down over the Rolo too hard. You want it to stick to the melted Rolo but you don’t want to smash it as it will melt out from in between the wafers.

STEP 5: Quickly place the tray in the fridge until the chocolate has set, about 20 minutes.

STEP 6: Remove from the fridge and melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and then place back in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate has melted.

STEP 7: Dip the sandwich cookies in the melted chocolate, tapping off excess chocolate. Immediately place in the fridge to harden for at least 1 hour.
